Updated 11/18/05 XMas list

Chris and Michelle's Christmas Wish List
Do-able:
one pear tree (a good kind for Austin temperatures, I hear the asian pear trees do well)
one mexican plum tree

help re-wiring our house (our bathroom light has not worked for four months)

fenders for bike tires so when it is raining my butt doesn't get wet! (both Chris and Michelle)

a pair of really good fabric cutting scissors for michelle, the kind that last forever and only need to be sharpened to make them good as new!

good dress socks for Chris: black, brown and grey

Mason jars!! (seriously, we love storing our bulk items in the glass jars as well as leftover soups)

a really good 16 inch straight claw hammer for chris (he bent our other hammers)

Only if Donald Trump decided to give us christmas gifts, here is what we would ask for:

low-e, double pane windows (casement preferable)

bamboo wood floor for our living room and hallway

a kickass sewing machine for Michelle complete with a manual (i have to guess on the one I am using now)

a new bumper cover for the car as well as a new windshield so we can sell it and then have Donald buy us a hybrid or Toyota Scion

more milk paint!!

All right, I had better stop dreaming and get back to work! Egads!
Michelle

My dad would have to see about your house (how old, how badly wired) before he comes up with any sort of reasonable fee, but he'd be willing to come up and check it out.
He's (among other things) an electrician by trade, very savvy. He was wondering if you couldn't find anyone to help you that was within your budget?
you can email me -- greenbear01@care2.com -- and let me know if this sounds good and if there's a saturday coming up where one or both of you will be at home.
Also, in case no one gets your man a new 16-ounce hammer, Stanley's a good brand (sears). Good investment. difficult to bend.
